Another edition of Hawaii Eco Divers Apnea and Surf Survival Training is coming up on September 24th and 25th (Saturday and Sunday) on Oahu, Hawaii. The training includes theoretical and practical knowledge  for athletes to manage apnea and emotional control in the water, especially in risk situations. “It involves exercises to strengthen and expand the respiratory muscles, as well as wipe outs and rescues simulations,” says Ricardo.

The course is taught by surfer, professional diver and owner of Hawaii Eco Divers, Ricardo Taveira, who already trained world-renowned surfers like Nathan Fletcher, Adriano de Souza, Jamie Sterling and Filipe Toledo and many others, including respected lifeguards of Hawaii and other places.

On the first day, the course will take place at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center, in Aiea, and on the second bay it will happen on the waters of Waimea Bay, on the North Shore.

Another training season in South America

The training is also making its way to Chile and Brazil for a new South American season in October, where Ricardo will train surfers, professionals of the ocean and other people interested on having a better performance in the water considering their breathing skills.
